Has anyone seen the Flight attendant school show on the travel channel? Justin and I started watching it. At first we thought it wasn’t going to be very good but we’ve gotten pretty hooked. They really do go through a boot camp like training. It’s neat to see all that they must learn and tests they have to pass. So, anyone seen it? If not, look for it.

I’ve been meaning to share this with you all. I just remembered and thought I’d post before I forgot again. Jeremy gave us a sheet of paper with quotes and scriptures on it that will help us as we prepare for our trip to Moscow and as we are there. Don’t worry, I won’t share all of them with you, just a few that I thought were extra special.
- Jeremiah 33:3 says, “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”
- Jim Cymbala writes: “If we don’t enjoy being in His presence here and now, then why would He send anyone there (heaven) who doesn’t long for Him passionately here on earth?”
- “Persistent calling upon the name of the Lord breaks through EVERY stronghold of the devil, for NOTHING is impossible with God.”
- Matthew 7:7: “Ask and it will be given unto you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”
- Jeremiah 29:13: (one of my favorites) “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
- James 4:2: “You do not have, because you do not ask God.” (another favorite)
How awesome is that! God has answered every question we have ever had or will ever have right in the Bible. It’s life’s little instruction manual. It must be hard for men to follow since there aren’t any pictures 😉 JUST KIDDING hehe
God is so awesome! Amen? Lately I feel like I’ve been having “Joan of Arcadia” moments on a daily basis. I really feel like God is directing me and telling me what to do next. It’s the weirdest thing. It’s random moments when someone will be talking and then everything else seems to get quieter and that sentence the person is saying sticks right out at me and seems to answer a question I have. It’s so nice to know that no matter what I do God is there to help me out. Anyone else ever have that? I sure hope so. If not, you just aren’t listening hard enough.
I wanted to ask that those of you that pray, please pray for me. I’m still awaiting some news about something. Hopefully I will find out by weeks end. It means a pretty big life change for me and Justin. I know this makes it sound super big but don’t worry it’s nothing bad. I just can’t say just yet. I’m just struggling through the wait trying to figure out what decision to make. Thank you so much for your support. And no…I’m not pregnant LOL
Today is Melissa’s Birthday. She was the first person I met at GWU and my first room mate. Today she is living in Arizona (originally from New York) and getting her masters. Happy Birthday girl!
Last night we had our fundraiser planning meeting for our next Mission trip to Moscow. We don’t have exact dates but it will be the first two weeks in October. We have been asked to gather items for a silent auction. If any of you have anything you would like to donate for the cause or know of where I might be able to ask for donations please let me know. It looks like there will be 8 or 9 of us going. And men, please start a prayer chain for Justin, he will be one of only 3 men going on the trip. Girl power! haha. Thank you so much for your continued prayers and help. I’ll keep you updated as we find things out.
Give your loved ones a big hug or maybe a kiss today and tell them how much you appreciate them and love them. That’s the best gift of all.
I love you guys!
